I'm glad we've found a way to connect. My name is Marion Salomaa.
What drives me is the development of people and organizations – especially in times that call for orientation, dialogue, and courageous shaping.
I believe in the power of good leadership and a lived culture – not as idealized concepts, but as real, everyday practice.
On my journey, I’ve had the privilege of supporting many organizations and leaders in finding their own path: clearer, more coherent, and more effective.
With META3 Consulting, I create spaces for exactly this kind of development – at the intersection of people, organizations, and transformation.
My approach combines psychological depth, systemic clarity, and a strong belief in the power of moving things forward – together.
Background and Qualification
For more than ten years, I’ve been supporting people and organizations in development processes – with a particular focus on leadership, talent strategies, and cultural transformation.
My path has led me through various international consulting firms. During this time, I’ve worked across diverse contexts – from implementing global talent and succession processes to designing strategic people development architectures and launching feedback and engagement initiatives in international organizations.
What shaped me most were projects where I supported HR teams and leaders through phases of change, realignment, or growth – combining analytical depth, cultural sensitivity, and practical relevance.
Today, I work as a systemic consultant, coach, and assessor – with a sharp eye for the interplay between person, role, and system. I bring deep experience in using psychometric tools, designing leadership programs, and facilitating dialogue-based processes. My contribution often lies in creating movement within complexity, offering orientation, and opening up spaces where development can unfold.
I’m part of a vibrant network of partners and experts – both locally and internationally – with whom I collaborate flexibly, impactfully, and on equal footing.
My academic background is in adult education and personality psychology (Diploma, University of Bamberg), complemented by several advanced trainings in coaching and consulting:
- ICF-Certified Executive Coach (ACC), Solutions Academy, Bad Homburg
- Systemic Organizational Development and Consulting, isbw GmbH
- Systemic Business Coach, istob Management Academy, Munich
- Train-the-Trainer Program, Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg
I’m also certified in a wide range of psychometric assessment tools, including:
- SHL: OPQ, Verify G+, MQ
- Korn Ferry: KFALP, TalentQ Dimensions & Elements
- Aon: ADEPT-15
- Hogan: HPI, HDS, MVPI
- Behavioral Event Interviewing (BEI)
I use these tools strategically to support development processes with data-driven insights – always tailored to the respective cultural and strategic context.
I am convinced that:
- Short-term impulses fade if people don’t take responsibility for their own actions.
- Charming honesty and humor build deeper connection than professional politeness.
- Everyone wakes up wanting to make the best of their day.
- A resource-oriented mindset is the most effective key to development.
- Visible behavior reflects underlying inner motives.
- Everything has its time – and meaningful development often requires patience.
- Learning happens where irritation is allowed and resonance can emerge.
- Leadership is not a status, but a stance – one that offers both orientation and agility.
